Rosario A. Hernandez has been in the banking, money transmitter and financial services sector for close to 20 years, with experience in a number of renown MTOs in the International Money Transfer Industry. She has a strong business background and building business relationships within different areas of the financial services industry, in both the US, Canada, and Latin America.

She was the Regional Manager for Gram Express Dominicana in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, for close to 8 years (till 2006) where she was responsible for the business development and management of this start-up master agent in the DR, to represent, market and manage the MoneyGram brand and services in Dominican Republic and Haiti. She was responsible for sales and productivity reports, forecast projections, margin opportunities, sub-agent approvals, marketing plans, business development and expansion strategies within the territory.

Later on she joined Omnex Group managing their BHD, UNO, GIROMEX & Le Goi Tien Le Brands in the US & Canada, where she developed agent visitation, team formation and communications planning initiatives as well as deeloping corrective measures after a succesful Nationwide Mystery Shopping Program that included both, compliance and marketing in order to review agent relationships.

She opened her consultant firm RAH Consulting Services in 2008 in which she has provided Independent Advisory Services in MoneyTransfer Business and BSA/AML Compliance Consultancy and soon thereafter she was engaged by ITALCAMBIO USA where she was responsible for the development, supervision and management of their start-up money transmitter company, foreign exchange and check cashing operation in Florida.

Recently she was part of Omega Worldwide Advisory Services in Miami, FL  where she was responsible of Business Development  for Moneydart Global Services and Travelex USA (UAE Exchange) and Paytoo, the  financial technology (FinTech), mobile wallet technology, e-commerce and payment processing provider, where she was the Director of Business Relations & Regulatory Affairs.

Rosario has been collaborating with IMTC in the IMTC WORLD Conference helping guide participants in the MTFinX Workshop in 2016 and the MTS&P workshop in 2017.

Rosario is fluent in both English and Spanish, she has a BA in Public Relations & Social Communications from Universidad de la Tercera Edad (UTE) in Santo Domingo, a Management, Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree from the State University of New York and a Diploma in International Relations. She has been certified by ACAMS, FIBA and IMTC and has participated in many conferences & events in the USA and Latin America.
