Rogelio Welko Chaparro is the current president of the Association of Exchange Houses of Paraguay, and director of the CIASEFIM (International Commission of Non-Banking Associations of Money Transfers, Financial Services Companies, Houses, Agencies and Exchange Brokers of Mercosur).

His beginnings as Exchange Manager was in 1985, at Banco del Paraná-Paraguay, currently serving as President, of Oriente Cambios S.A., a Paraguayan entity dedicated to financial services, specifically currency exchange.

With 35 years of experience in the foreign exchange sector, he has participated as a special guest in the 4th Compliance And Business Day Abracam (Brazilian Exchange Association) held in April / 2019, in addition to the Workshop on “Financing Terrorism and Money Laundering in the Zone of the Triple Border ”with the support of the Department of the Treasury of the United States of North America, in October / 2019, among others.
