As program manager and chief of examinations at the Washington Department of Financial Institutions, Rick manages a 34-member team that supports and conducts examinations for, money transmitters, and currency exchange, check casher and sellers, payday lenders, residential and consumer finance/auto lending, residential loan servicing, mortgage brokers, escrow agents,
Rick is the President on the Money Transmitter Regulators Association’s Board of Directors. He is also serving his fourth two-year term with the Multi-State Mortgage Committee, and is the 2014 past Chairman.
Rick was honored as the recipient of the 2016 Distinguished Service Award presented by the American Association of Residential Mortgage Regulators (AARMR). The award is presented to those who have made outstanding contributions in their field and to the success of AARMR.
