Rebecca Rouse

Rebecca is a consultant at the MIF’s Access to Finance Unit, where she coordinates the MIF’s Regional Program on Remittances and Savings. Prior to joining the MIF, Rebecca was a research manager at Innovations for Poverty Action, where she directed a portfolio of studies testing the effectiveness of savings products and financial education interventions on low-income households in the United States. Between 2005 and 2010, she conducted research on financial inclusion and remittances with the Inter-American Dialogue, the International Organization for Migration, and Banco de Ahorro y Crédito Unión in the Dominican Republic. Rebecca holds a master’s degree in public administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, and a bachelor’s in political science from Bryn Mawr College.
