This event will go down in history as the first ever remittances and financial services conference in Cuba. For three days, more than 135 attendees, from Cuba and from more than 16 countries in the world, participated in this event where we explored the new face of remittances to the island and its link to financial services, as well as migrant services such as packaging, airtime, internet access recharge, cards, banking, mobile financial services developments, etc. We are grateful to Banco Central and Fincimex for their help and to every participant for their spirit of collaboration, respect and their commitment to a brighter tomorrow where international services can be offered with ease, safety, transparency, efficiency, speed and reliability. • The Conference took place from Monday, June 27th at 9:00 am to Wednesday, June 29th at 1 pm. There was time, beside the conference sessions and the meetings between international companies and their Cuban counterparts, for tours and visits to the city of Havana.

• All participants, especially from the US were encouraged to arrive on Sunday, June 26th and leave on Thursday, June 30th to take full advantage of this opportunity.

• Almost all international participants stayed at the Melia Cohiba Hotel where we had an IMTC block reserved.
