MercaDolar serves over 50K customers and has facilitated over 500k transactions since its inception in 2016.Currently, it is searching for more efficient ways to ease how money is transferred among countries.

Originally from Venezuela, Hugo has been residing in New York City since 2003, where he obtained his BBA at the Zicklyn Business School, CUNY. He is fascinated about how technology has changed the financial world and continuously participates in talks related Fintech, regulatory matters connected to MSBs, as well as mentorship programs for novices in the Fintech world.
