Brenda Villanueva de Cardoza. International Department Director. Central Bank of the Dominican Republic.

She has a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Corporate Finance from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra de Santo Domingo. He has a specialization in Applied Macroeconomics and a Master’s degree in Financial Economics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He also has a master’s degree in Senior Public Management from the Global Institute of Social Studies (IGLOBAL) in conjunction with the Ortega y Gasset University Research Institute of Madrid, Spain. He graduated in 2017 from the first Leadership Program for Public Management (PLGP) of Barna Management School.

She currently holds the position of director of the International Department of the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic, where she also held the positions of economic consultant and deputy director of Balance of Payments. He was an economic consultant for the Regulatory Department in the Dominican Telephone Company, a company where he began his work as a senior analyst in the Forecasting and Market Research department. Prior to this, he worked in the period 1997-2004 in the National Accounts department of the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic, where he held the positions of economist 1 to economist 3. He has carried out research work for the United Nations Program (UNDP ) and the United States Agency for Development (USAID) for its acronym in English, among others.

She has been a professor in the Department of Economics at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, Santo Tomás de Aquino campus, teaching different subjects; and where together with Gladys Jimenez and Marvin Cardoza she was the winner of the Competitive Research Funds of said university. He has also taught at other universities such as the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC), Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) and at the Universidad Acción Pro Educación y Cultura (APEC).
