Barrister Adebisi Adegbuyi who was appointed Postmaster General/CEO of Nigerian Postal on 1st August, 2016 was born on 11th May, 1961. He holds a Bachelor’s LL.B (Hons.) and a Masters’ Degree in Law, specializing in Secured Credit Transition and International Economic Law from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.

An astute manager of men and resources, whose entrepreneurial skills, audaciousness and unparalleled enthusiasm for excellence keeps pushing him to unleash his imagination which has resulted in significant innovations and new products which have earned the organization a major league in the economy of Nigeria. Among such products, Digital Addressing System (NIPOST DAS) and Address Verification System (NIPOST AVS), a pragmatic solution to the addressing challenges in the country, won the 2018 World Summit in Information System (WSIS) Award in Geneva, Switzerland.

His overriding passion is to see that financial services are extended to the banked, under-banked and unbanked populace in the rural areas of Nigeria and outside the confines of Nigeria through the NIPOST post transfer and NIPOST agency banking; he has pursued this goal keenly through strategic partnership with Banks and financial service providers.
