Lukas Keller is an independent consultant specializing in financial inclusion and savings promotion, with a particular focus on Latin America and the Caribbean. From September 2015 until October 2016 he worked as a researcher for the Remittances and Savings facility of the Inter-American Development Bank’s Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF), time during which he co-authored a series of quantitative studies of the socioeconomic profiles of remittance clients in the countries of the Northern Triangle. Before joining the MIF, he worked for different private and public sector institutions in Europe and Latin America, mostly focusing on issues of economic and political development, including Dow Jones Inc., the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).

Lukas holds master’s degrees in Politics and Public Administration from Rutgers and Konstanz universities. He also studied at the universities of Magdeburg, Warsaw and Princeton.
