Joaquin Moreno was the Regional Manager for LATAM at ZipzapInc a MTO licensed in Canada, with offices in the U.S. & U.K. He created the first Bitcoin online course in Spanish and Portuguese in 2014 and produced IMTC’s videos on Bitcoin & Blockchain recorded by Hugo Cuevas-Mohr in 2015.
He co-founded Mondome, a site to find the best way to send money around the world and in 2015 he founded the Blockchain practice at Globant, a digital service company listed in NYSE, with +7000 employees around the world, where he lead different Blockchain teams and also created partnerships with blockchain platforms.
In 2017 & 2018 he developed Consensys Business in Colombia, Central America and Mexico and is currently working as a cofounder in a new global consultant initiative helping companies develop blockchain solutions. He also participated on the launch of the LACCHAIN (Latin American and Caribbean Chain) in Colombia and Mexico, an initiative sponsored by IADB Interamerican Development Bank and is member of the Alianza Blockchain Iberoamericana.
