“Money Transmitter”, is a broad designation in the US that includes the provision of money transmission services, i.e. the transfer of funds. The term “money transmission services” means the acceptance of currency, funds, or other value that substitutes for currency and its transmission to another location or person by any means. With less and less exceptions, most NBFIs (Non-Bank Financial Institutions) or MSB (Money Service Businesses) in the US fall into this definition. From the traditional MTOs, to online MTOs, to leading financial services providers, to new kids-on-the-block, this ever-evolving industry finds a home at our Annual IMTC USA event.
