Jack Liu is the Co-Creator & Chief Strategy Officer of OKLink a start up that was founded in February 2016 in Hong Kong. Also, the Chief Strategy Officer of OKCoin for the last 2 years, a company set to improve people’s lives by making financial services more open, easier, and cheaper with the use of the Blockchain. OKLink is more than a blockchain settlement company; it is striving to change the world’s financial economy.

Jack is a serial entrepreneur founding businesses in Silicon Valley, Beijing, and Hong Kong. Jack has appeared on Bloomberg TV, Financial Times, New York Times, Coindesk and more.

Previously, Jack was the Co-founder of Micropetition in Palo Alto, California. His time in the banking industry was with Barclays Investment Bank in Equity Derivative Sales for 3 years, also in Hong Kong. There he covered pan-Asian equity derivatives markets, servicing a wide range of clients, including volatility arbitrage, long/short equity, global macro hedge funds, endowment funds and pension funds.

While in Canada, Jack worked with Barclays Capital and was the Co-founder, Co-chair of Queen’s Conference on International Business (QCIB), Canada’s first undergraduate international business conference. Jack graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Finance, General in 2010. A true world traveller, Jack attended Università Commerciale ‘Luigi Bocconi’ studying Finance, Economics in 2008.

Is worth mentioning that Jack was a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity International in 2010 and helped in the construction of a new home in Tijuana, Mexico.
