Edigarbo Garcia graduated in 1985 from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra of Business Administration. Subsequently in 1990 he did his post graduate studies about High Strategic Management, he also has an MBA from the University of Quebec in Montreal on 2005. He has worked in the Banking Industry since 1985 occupying management positions in the areas of business and operations. Since 2000 he began to manage the Dominican Remittance companies, taking these companies to a very important position in the Remittance distribution in Dominican Republic.
He currently serves as Vice President of bank payments at BHDLeon Bank, the 2nd largest Private Bank in the country, and from that position manages Prepaid Debit Cards, Remittances and Solidarity Project ( Dominican Government Social Program ). He has participated as speaker on issues of remittances, invited by the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic.
