The CrossTech Conferences, formerly the IMTC Conferences, are developed by The Platinum Network in partnership with Mohr World Consulting, by a dedicated & professional team with experience in cross border payments and international events. We are supported by our sponsors and we partner with many companies & individuals and a wide range of associations and organizations, multilateral as well as government institutions, from around the globe, to make the events the biggest gatherings of the Cross Border Payments Industry.

We celebrated 12 years at our IMTC WORLD 2021 event in November 2021 where we announced our CrossTech rebranding. As 2021 events in the US have been reaching 50% to 60% of their pre-covid participation, we are proud to have reached 80%! 400 participants gathered at the event, from 280+ companies coming from 50+ countries to Miami, event with all the travel restrictions and the understanding covid related uncertainties. It was our first world hybrid event, virtual & in-person, drawing from all the lessons learned in our virtual-only events during the pandemic. CROSSTECH LATAM 2022 will be held in Brazil in March (previous events have been held in Mexico City, Cancun, Havana, Antigua (Guatemala), Sao Paulo), CROSSTECH EMEA 2002 will be held in Istanbul, Turkey in May (previous events have been held in Barcelona, Madrid, Brussels, London). We have held events in Asia: IMTC ASIA (New Delhi, Manila) and Africa, IMTC AFRICA (Nairobi, Lagos). We have great plans for our second decade! All our past conference books are here. We partner with many industry associations such as ABRACAM, Associação Brasileira de Câmbio, the MSBA, the US Money Service Business Association, ASOTRANS, the Mexican Money Transfer Association.

CROSSTECH is part of The Platinum Network and the brand developed to bring to the Cross Border Payments Industry, conferences & events, forums where all the colleagues from the industry can network, partner, learn, share information and together, strengthen and grow the industry worldwide.  The growth of CROSSTECH (Formerly IMTC) is the result of the growth and broadening of the Non-Bank Financial Industry & its Banking Partners in more than a decade. From cross border financial services, such as Money Transfer Operators (MTOs), Remittance Service Providers (RSPs), Foreign Exchange firms, Banks, Payment Processors and Mobile Operators involved in financial services (MMOs), as well as a large array of institutions, fintech & start-ups, brick-and-mortar or digital-first, for-profit and non-profit, that provide services along migration corridors, to people or companies, personal or commercial, formal or informal. Some might be designated as remittances, payments, international compensation of employees, etc.. Globally, the Cross Border Payments Industry is very large and diverse but very scattered across all countries with partnerships interconnecting the networks, some very mature and regulated (and even over-regulated) to some that are emerging and maybe underregulated, full of innovative solution builders and leading-edge entrepreneurs.

Invigorated by technology developments, new services are emerging and the RemTECH Awards were launched in 2017 and rebranded in 2022 as the CrossTech Innovation Awards to highlight the innovations that are transforming the Cross Border Payments Industry. In 2022 our CROSSTECH COMPLAINCE Event will take place in June in Miami (In 2021 we did our Regliance Virtual Event).

Our virtual and in-person events bring the researchers, the consultants, the politicians, the regulators, the activists, but also the providers of services or products that intersect with the Cross Border Payments Industry’s core services. Some might be providing financial services to the same users as well as foreign exchange, communications, travel, packaging services, etc. The technology providers, the auditors, the legal & regulatory advisory services, the compliance professionals are also welcome to share their expertise and contribute to strengthening this community.

We have made a significant effort to develop our online presence with the creation of The CrossTech Online Community where our members can discover information, resources and a way to meet each other and network. We are also taking our events online expanding our reach to every corner of the world. We celebrated our first decade and we are moving stronger than ever to our second one!
