We are always in need of great speakers and panelists. A speaker for un is someone that makes a presentation by him/herself, usually about 20-25 minutes long, in one of our morning plenaries. A panelist is someone who is part of a panel of 2-4 individuals who discuss a specific subject guided by a moderator. We have panel in the morning plenaries and in the afternoon round tables. The difference is that in the plenaries only the moderator asks questions; in the afternoon round tables the idea is that there need to be interaction and the moderador encourages questions and arguments from the other participants. In the afternoon the panelists are used by the moderator to spark conversations.
If you want to be be a speaker or panelist subscribe to our announcements to stay informed. You can also join our Linkedin Group, follow us in twitter and subscribe to the newsletter written by our Director Hugo Cuevas-Mohr.
Note:Sometimes speakers are given a free pass to the conference while panelists receive a discounted pass. We very seldom pay for any expenses, such as accommodations or travel related expenses and only for non-profit, educational, government or multilateral organizations.
